FearRP Bullcrap
#1
Alright I want to discuss how the FearRP works on RP servers. Basically if you're not sure what it is before you read on, basically if a guy pulls a gun out on you, you can't run etc. So anyways, let's say in real life if a guy pulls a gun out on you and you happen to be a military veteran or Armium Services with a gun in your pocket but you cant pull it out even though you were professionally trained. I don't get that really. Also if you pulled a gun out on someone on the streets, 8/10 times they will run from you. So I really don't understand why FearRP was even implemented unless your characters traits were to be afraid of things. Any opinions?

Let me make it perfectly clear, so it's more understandable.

If someone pulls a gun on you on FL and tells you to stop, you stop. End of discussion.

Why do most people on the servers hate being hostaged or held at gunpoint for good RP scenarios, it's fun and leads into really intense situations unless it's random or you're being mugged. Plus giving your character traits such as you listed is sugarcoating your character which is both annoying and against the rules.

No matter how elite you think you are If someone has a gun to you, you will not be able to draw the weapon from out of your holster, aim and pull the trigger faster than that person can pull the trigger. You'd have two rounds in your chest before you even touched your grip.

Is it not obvious why you wouldn't run from a guy with a gun to your head...

Hi.

You need to forget the fact that you are the lightning in real life. Just as you think you can pull a weapon out faster than a person can pull a tricker in real life you are actually able to in this gamemode.

You can drag out a weapon within a eye blink in Garry's mod which is a good enough reason not to modify the rule but keep it straight.

In real life, a lot of guys who will pull a gun out on you most likely wont shoot you, such as kidnappers.

Congratulations. Doesn't mean that you can assume one would not shoot. In real life, I can promise that you'd be dead scared if somebody was to point a loaded gun at you, despite your "statistic", telling that they would, mathematically calculating, not shoot you.

Again, perhaps this will make it more clear.

Again, there's no discussion about it. FearRP is simple and to be obeyed. If there is absolutely and lenience at all towards situations and "maybes" there would be abuse on the side of the playerbase.
