Although this rp is a little 'riskay', these types of shops are very prominent in Europe and should not be seen as a fail rp.
While of course the rp is not suitable for younger players, if it is done in a respectable manner, ( which it was ) it shouldn't be a breach on server rules.
However this is simply my opinion and I respect that the admins thoughts on this are final.

Well I nearly could have been banned once or twice even for promoting sex rp. Clarification from an administrator would be much appreciated, not that I am going to do this again..

I don't see any rules about adult RP being bannable, but it sure is risky because it can get a bit FailRPish or maybe even escalate to rape RP, which we all know is strictly bannable. Not to mention the young side of our playerbase who probably saw this RP going on.

Something I can say about this is that the location is a bit... wrong.
The shops I see in real life usually blend in among a lot of other stores, or they're pretty hard to find...
What I'm trying to say is that you could've placed the store somewhere where it's not exposed in the middle of the city.
The color selection is not seductive in any way either. Looks more like a Disney's playhouse with adult toys everywhere. Think dark colours, dark red or purple with a black splash put into it or something.

Also, people can be very easily offended by -coughs- "adult" roleplay, especially here on FL. Therefore I'd recommend not being too overexposing about it (tons of adverts that have a bit too much information about the shop, location etc)

Just be careful with how you roleplay this particular theme.

I will state this,

This RP was done passively ad strictly so...
There was an administrator on the server at the time and we did advertise, yet received no complaint so we deemed it ok.

It was also done in a way to make people laugh and have fun, we chatted to people occasionally selling stuff to them, we weren't endorsing any sort of illegal activity at all.

The way I see it it shouldn't be a taboo subject, sex is a way of reproducing and of human leisure. Most people on fearless have at some point attended a sexual education class at school. Therefore knowledgable of the subject.

We in no way portrayed the act of sexual activity. We simply sold items to people.


That is my view point on the matter I don't wish to argue this pointlessly. We did an RP, if it is too near breaking server rules then im sorry and we won't do anything of the same nature again.

Just saying, why are we getting worried about a sex shop in a game mode that features hard drugs, car theft, organised crime, mugging, street warfare, hostage taking, black market dealings etc. Which one is going to have more of a negative effect on the kiddlywinks?

But change the damn colour palette :p
