A government is a federal body or entity that holds itself responsible for attending to the population of a specific area of land.
The first known governments were often tribal monarchies in which a chief would rule over a select number of tribal vassals based
on the chief's strength, not ability to lead. Today we have a different system, and in this guide I would like to explain to the best of
my abilities how to roleplay a proper and indepth government on the FearlessRP servers. There are a few different jobs within the gamemode's
base government, however they are few and not nearly enough to make up a realistic government body. The gamemode's government is highly
simplified and excludes legislative and executive branches, scraps federal courts for a simple warrant system and overall simplifies how you
govern your city. For some people, they do not mind sitting around gathering money from taxes, setting laws and warranting criminals,
this simple government setup is more than enough for them. Others, like myself get extremely bored when there is no interesting roleplay
going on in the government. In the different sections below I will explain how to spice up your government roleplay, make it more complex and
interesting and even learn a thing or two about how governments in real life work aswell.

Different governments follow different ideologies, whether it be far left socialism or far right monarchism, the political spectrum
certainly has an ideology for every specific political idea. Upon setting up your government roleplay, you may want to pick out the
ideology your government will follow. Take a look at the political spectrum below to get an idea what each ideology entitles. Before
choosing an ideology please note that we have a low tolerance toward extremist roleplay of any sort, especially when doing so as the
government, this means no extremist ideologies will be tolerated. Also note we forbid use of Swastikas, Hammers & Sickles or any other
extremist symbols. Totalitarianism as a word simply represents roleplaying a dictator, and is not meant to represent extremist
roleplay in any sort of way. Once you have chosen an ideology for your government continue on down to the next section of this guide.

Socialism - Socialism is a social and economic system characterised by social ownership of the means of production and co-operative management of the economy, as well as a political theory and movement that aims at the establishment of such a system.

Liberalism - The political and economic doctrine that emphasizes the rights and freedoms of the individual and the need to limit the powers of government. Liberalism originated as a defensive reaction to the horrors of the European wars of religion of the 16th century

Conservatism - a political philosophy based on tradition and social stability, stressing established institutions, and preferring gradual development to abrupt change; specifically :  such a philosophy calling for lower taxes, limited government regulation of business and investing, a strong national defense, and individual financial responsibility for personal needs (as retirement income or health-care coverage)

Monarchism - Monarchism is the advocacy of a monarch or monarchical rule. A monarchist is an individual who supports this form of government, independent from any specific monarch; one who espouses a particular monarch is a royalist. Conversely, the opposition to monarchical rule is sometimes referred to as republicanism.

Totalitarianism - Totalitarianism is a concept used by some political scientists in which the state holds total authority over the society and seeks to control all aspects of public and private life wherever possible.

Most governments use a system known as Parliament to decide which edicts and laws are issued and practiced within the country. This
Parliament has representatives from different political parties representing different ideologies that discuss different issues and vote how
to handle said issue, before presenting the Parliament's verdict to the Executive Branch, the President or Prime Minister. The Executive Branch can then either issue or veto Parliament's decision (This alters with different governments). Some governments have both a Head of State and Head of Government, for example the UK's head of state is the Queen, whilst the Head of Government is the Prime Minister.
In the US however, the President is both Head of State and Government. To put all this into a roleplay aspect, try broadcasting that you are looking to hire citizens to form a parliament within the nexus, upon the citizens arriving ask them what party they wish to represent and have them discuss political issues with you, such as taxes, warrants or new laws to add. Now that you have a somewhat working parliament, try to get as many members as possible representing different aspects and perspectives to make sure each citizen's voice is being heard through their respective representative.

Political parties represent political ideologies, therefore if there is a political idea there is likely a political party attempting to get that idea
heard and into executive hands, they do this by picking a candidate from their members and fund a campaign to run said candidate for a seat of office, whether that be Prime Minister, President or Chairman. Under the assumption you roleplayed that you got into office from an election, you were likely a candidate funded by a political party, so alongside choosing your ideology you may want to choose a party to represent. For example, David Cameron, UK Prime Minister is the Leader of the Conservative Party, representing the Conservative ideology. Take the name of the ideology you chose earlier, put party at the end and voila! you have a political party whose ideas you will enforce.

So, you picked the Totalitarian ideology and now want to join the server, become president and rule the city with an iron fist as a Dictator. Make sure to follow these simple steps to make sure you don't end up fading away like the million other Dictators we've had in the server's past, you want to stand out right? Then make sure to roleplay a Dictator properly. Make sure when you become president, to always wait twenty minutes prior to founding your totalitarian regime. Always make sure
any Dictatorial laws have reasoning behind them and roleplay your dictatorship realistically, by that I mean the laws must make sense, for example the law "No crouching at all!" is strictly not allowed as it makes little sense and is mainly done for fun and not roleplay.
