20 posts disappearing

ok so ive just logged on this morning after the site was down yesterday...
and ive noticed my post count has gone from 192 to 172 which means 20 of my posts have disappeared. I know it sounds a bit pedantic however im just interested as to why? was it something to do with site down time yesterday as it was all the posts between 9/11/13 and 11/11/13....? or am I just being stupid and not noticing something obvious.
