I hardly have any money, I will buy any car that is civilian, I have about 4k-5k, I wont be getting any more money anytime soon. (BASE CITY RP SERVER, THE ONE WITHOUT ALL THE EXTRA REALISM STUFFS)

Considering you only have 4-5 thousand dollars, I would save up until you could purchase a vehicle. A junker was my first car, and considering you have only been on the server for less than one hour, getting a car is a little overkill.
My first car in perspective was around 70 hours.

Save your money, that is my recommendation. Perhaps donating to the community could get you there, but like I said before, contraband farming and salaries can also work. Try Passive RPing, doing that will make your salary just fly by, because it is so much fun, you won't be focusing on money.

TL;DR? Save your money, get food and stuff like that. Hike it out or call a taxi. However if you insist on a vehicle, I would get the Trabant. Beats running.
