One of my favourite companies has an upcoming game called War of the Vikings.

Wait, so if you already have War of the Roses you get a pass? Great. I have WotR. I think it's mostly like a re-textured game, though. It has most of the same mechanics from what I've seen.

I noticed it in my steam library since I own "War of the Roses" (they gave me that for free too on the newsletter).
Just watched some gameplay footage, and it is a lot like "War of the Roses". Hopefully this gains more popularity than "War of the Roses" did, as I didn't see many people playing it.
