Bank Robbery RP ?

[Jigsaw]

Story:A bank owner is doing a normal day at work, but a group of thugs got a tip that he has $500,000 hidden in a vault. The thugs decide to raid the bank but as they are in the vault the police arrive and surround the bank. The bank owner is then taken hostage.

This is when the event starts.
So the thugs start in the bank with the cops outside. The whole meaning of the event is to see how the thugs and cops cooperate to get what they both want without violence.

So the question is, do you guys think this could work?

And the whining afterwards is never fun. Everytime there is a aggressive RP event shit hits the fan.

Problems:
Thugs don't have the same concerns that they would in real life.
Goes double for cops as well.
Bank robbers that are caught in a head-on against the whole of the police and SRU never get what they want and get away with it.
In Fearless it just ends in a massive and pointless firefight which includes several deaths, on both sides and of passerby unfortunate enough to get caught in the crossfire.
