Summary:
Snoopeh used a winch tool, rope, elastic, I don't really know which tool.
But he used it on a Jeep seat to get himself to the top of the nexus.
Evidence:
The name of the prop-owner only showed up in the first picture, as I kept looking around. When I looked back at him, his chair went up rapidly; I couldn't get the prop-owner's name in time before he went out of my range. Maybe the logs could tell which tool he used on the Jeep seat.
