Alright, I will try that. I am trying to connect to the rp_evocity2_v2p map and it didn't say that in the download list. I will try it anyway and report back.

I have fixed it!

However, it wasn't the material issue.

In the addons folder I created a folder called flcontent and moved the materials, sound, setting and models into there instead of having it all in the addons folder. In the original flcontent download, these files were not in a folder named "flcontent" and hence everything in it was useless as the game did not have the correct file path.
So the folders called materials, sound settings and models MUST have a folder parent called "flcontent"
