Too bad the Radeon HD 7970 Ghz Edition destroys the 680 in almost every way. No voltage lock, able to be overclocked higher; you can't go wrong with one of those. :3

Well that might be. However it doesn't change the fact that I'm definitely more of an nVidia fan than Radeon. The PhysX thing really appeals to me.
Besides, I've heard that a lot of people are experiencing problems with their cards. So I took the safe choice.

Last but not least... Either if I have a HD 7970 or 680 I believe I'm going to do just fine Cheese

EDIT: Oh and.. I'm not going to be overclocking.

Are you going to be overclocking in the future?

If you have multiple monitors, there is plenty reason to overclock for the added performance. That and hardware benchmarks are like porn; the better the performer, the more bragging rights.

If he doesnt have 2 monitors, and if a 690 is able to run all his games, then why overclock it?

he got the 680, but I was asking to see if he was gonna OC in the future , because he got the unlocked version of the 3570 and a cpu cooler so I did not know.

Perhaps. But right now I'm definitely not in need of overclocking due to the simple fact that I can pretty much already run everything.
