Gaming PC - Finance Method?
#1
Hey everyone. Straight to the point, I've been playing Garrys Mod and other source games as well as some simulator games on my Mac Mini i5 2.3ghz x2 with Intel HD 3000 Graphics.

Yes the graphics card is terrible and we dont need debated saying "Mac is shit" cause apart from the onboard graphics, its not.

I want to buy a high end gaming computer tower ONLY on Finance if its possible with a budget of £500 possible £600 depending on the specs.

As much as I could afford to pay it all off in one, that leaves me short for another 30 days until pay day as I have rent and stuff to pay aswell.

If you know of any sites which do great financial deals (pay in installments basically depending on Credit Rating) - Im not too settled with the 15.9% apr shite so if anyone knows something better please tell me.

I want something with a high end (non integrated) graphics card, powerful processor (AMD preferably), high ram and plenty of HDD space. Thanks

EDIT: Another reason for Finance is I can afford it better now as I start a new job next month with the NHS Mental Health Service which pays better than where I am now, but one off payments are a big no no!

You can also customize to your needs.

Yep, Zap has got it down.

Spend some time looking around, and setup your own build or just choose a computer you want to buy and tell us. Don't buy it without consenting someone like us first though.

If you were going to do a build for gaming,

- Switch out the FX-6100 for an i3-2100. It beats that processor gaming wise and application wise as well. Also the FX-4170 isn't all that bad either.

A similar comparison between a better AMD 6-Core and the i3-2100, which is cheaper:

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/289?vs=147

- You wouldn't want to play games with that card. The cheapest I would go is with a AMD Radeon HD 7750 or the 6850/6870. They are the best value/performance right now.

So yes, It is very good for a price like that. And if you take a graphics card. Please take a AMD Radeon, not an NVidea... But if you really want an NVidea, than take a decent one, only prices of a new one is HIIIIIIIGGGGGGGHHHHHHH)
