I now pity you because you have ATI, Half of the games I have if they see ATI they leg it and it gets 0 FPS, Occasionally jumping to 1 FPS.

Do you even know what your talking about?

The ATI Radeon HD 5970, which is a card from almost 5 years ago still dominates the GTX 580, which was released close to almost 2 years now. And it still beats some of the 600 series from NVIDIA with old technology.

ATI now being AMD dominates the low card market smoking the GTX 560 Ti and 550 Ti with cards such as the 6850, 6870 and the 7850.

The GTX 550 Ti is honestly a shit card compared to the AMD Radeon HD 7750, which is $20 cheaper and manages close to 10 more FPS on every game

Mate, I has duh 6870, no problems at all, I am upgrading to a GTX 670 only because of price/perf.
6870 beats 550 Ti, so don't hang s*** on it.

Building a computer is like playing with lego.

I've builded 6 computers: my office PC, my brothers PC, my friends PC, my mothers PC and my own 2 PC's.

But, since I use a laptop nowadays, I can hardly constumize it except increasing RAM or replacing HDD.

Nice setup.

Build quite a lot of PC's myself Smile

But yeah as Soul said it's just like Lego, or a puzzle.

The 7750 beats the 550 Ti as well and the card was originally predicted to be worse. NVIDIA cant hold its own until it reaches around the $300 range of cards. Meaning the 7850, which is a $225 card beats the 560 Ti and barely beats the 570 (@$300) and thats only at clock speeds. Easy enough, you can buy a 7850 and overclock it to speeds of a GTX 580.

Soul, Im actually upgrading the CPU in mine and replacing the heatsink. There is a lot more you can do, if you know what you're doing. Otherwise I was going to get a new motherboard in my laptop for the next gen IGP, but the only issue with that is you have to find the correct form factor for the base and the socket for the CPU.
