I've been wondering about it for a long time...: Who the heck is googlebot?! I know what Google is, and I know what a Bot is, so I should probably know what a googlebot is...

Im not 100% sure.
But I think it is just a program designed by google to gather information from differnt sites.

It's a bot that checks out everything we write here so if I for example type the name of this thread the googlebot will read it and put it in their database.
Then when I google it this thread will show up on my googlepage
