So you want to submit a screenshot for our loading screen
In order for it to be approved you must have the following settings in game:
- Model, texture, shader & shadow detail to at LEAST high
- Antialiasing to at least 4x MSAA (this is very important as otherwise your image will have jagged edges)
In terms of the image itself, it must meet these requirements:
- The screenshot MUST be taken in game, we will not approve pretty images you've posed in singleplayer or on Source Film Maker
- The image must use /minhud, so that our UI does not appear in your screenshot
- The image you submit should not feature any inappropriate content (such as hate crime symbols, lewd imagery, etc)
- Preferably, the image would not feature any integrated GMod UI features (such as a speaker above someones head indicating them speaking)
- Preferably, the image should be taken from a first person perspective using the camera to hide your fists or whatever you have in your hands
Just because you submit an image does not mean we will use it, we will be judging the overall aesthetic of the image, the composition and overall feel of the screenshot
Leaving likes on other peoples images will likely be a good indicator of whether or not it is of quality
The images we do approve will be moved onto our loading screen and will be there until we decide on a change
