It is with the deepest regret that I am writing this statement today. I have been informed from those above me within the company have concluded that a move to Evocity is not logistically, operationally or tactically worthwhile for the company. I hereby announce that Harrods Ltd. will not be opening a department store in Evocity as once planned and apologise for this being their conclusion.

However, a subsidiary of Harrods Ltd., Harrods Estates has received an offer to perform a merger with a company which is moving into Evocity in the coming weeks. The board have agreed on this merger with said company, in turn we will be present in relation to our estates but under the merging companies name. To be clear with the public the merger has cost the company in question $7,500,000.
