In both instances he goes back to the same place where died infringing New Life Rule. In the first case he doesn't manage to get into the NLR zone, however it is clear as he is going back to take his car, as there will be no other reason from which to go back in that specific area. In the second he is talking about the rule NLR, while entering his nlr zone again to take his car.
