I agree with her being fired. Bringing "Race" (even though there's just one race, the human race) into anything is automatically racist as you're implying that the person is a certain way due to how they look physically. We do live in a time where, unfortunately, fascism/racism/xenophobia is on the rise, however acusing everyone of it is just plain dumb and making the situation worse.

Live a good life. If there's a god and he's just, he will not care of how devout you are, he will accept you for the virtues you have based your life upon. If there's no god, then you will have gone, but you will have lived a noble life which will stay in the memories of those that you love.
