Yes. I know. I'm a laptop newbie. I've contemplated smashing my computer with a hammer just so I could buy a new one but I wont have the money until later this year and I don't know how to build a computer. Might just get an Alienware desktop and make life easy. Haven't decided yet. Suggestions welcome.

Don't know what sort of budget you are on (Or if it's like this in the states) but in Norway, there are a lot of companies who will build the PC for you. All you have to do is choose your own parts.

That being said, Alienware does make pretty good laptops, and you can easily bring it around wherever you go.
