Gmod crashes almost instantly upon Sending Client Info

So, when I do fancy playing. I join, it gets to Sending Client Info and then my gmod just curls up and crashes really damn fast.

Any ideas?

Same happens to me, but I don't even get to the startup screen, it turns blue and dies instantly.

Surely somebody else has witnessed this?

First thought is an addon is causing problems. Second thought is driver problems. The first is more likely though, I'd try it first.
