I think it's to do with posts, don't quote me on that though.

It's to do with how many times you post - I think you get 2 at 100 - 3 at 250 - 4 at 500 - 5 at 1000?

I got my 5th as I got teacher and all mods have the same(5), admins have the same(6), SA have the same(7) and then Soul is special all by himself with 8.

What Deer said, you can either earn it through posting loads or becoming a member of the staff team where Soul or an SA will set it.

Stars are awarded by total number of forum posts. Staff members have a certain amount of stars by default depending on rank.
Moderators - 5 Admins - 6 Super Admins - 7 And then SoulRipper as owner has 8 stars. Hitman Fearless Administrator
