Odd Guns

After making a recent return to the server I tried seeing if I could still be a SRU. I was quick to get to the front of the Nexus but when I tried to equip my gun I realised it looked really odd. It looks as if the gun is actually my hand.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with a quick fix!

Okay a few things to try which may resolve the issue.

Since you've been off for a while it may be worth download the new content pack which can be found at the top of every forum section, posted by SoulRipper.

Alternatively, press ESC, click the game controller bottom right and tick all available boxes.

Since the guns are counter strike based you may need to make sure the CSS box is ticked.

If these two do not resolve the problem then it could be an issue with the GarrysMod game files itself. A common resolution attempt is to go into the properties of the game and deleting it's local content, then reinstalling or maybe even clearing the cache.

If these methods fail then please let me know.

I believe I had this problem once, the way I remember fixing it was going into third person and back to first person. CTRL + TAB or chasecam in console.
