This would be a very useful way to do it without any scripts. If the laws are loaded from a text file in this kind of format, it could possibly load them right away, instead of having to stand still couple minutes for the script to write the laws.

Also,
It could go pretty neatly together with this suggestion:

Although I really like your suggestion I can see a lot of misuse possibly happening.
People could for instance use ascii art instead of using it for laws.
For instance:

All people who violate the law will be send to:
                                        __
               ALCATRAZ      / __ \
             ____________|       |
              |_|_|_|_|_|_|  |       |
              |_|_|_|_|_|_|_|       |
             A@\|_|_|_|_|_|/@@Aa
       aA@@@@@@@@@@@@Aa
  aaA@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@aaaA
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

There'll have to be clear rules on what is allowed and what's not to avoid any misuse.

Hello,

I could imagine this would be considered FailRP and they will be dealt with accordingly, same as if they would post those things anywhere IC

I mean I feel like the only reason it's currently line by line is for the announcements to happen just like they used to before the law thing even existed. I think it's just better to make it a text file like thing and just announce it's been changed

Imo would be so much easier to create and amend laws, especially for newer players
