Is my anti virus lieing? - TC224 - 01-05-2012 Ok, SO every month my anti virus gives me a report on how its protected me and bleh bleh bleh, but I'm using the free version which questions me about the fact where it says: Total threats protected against 2965084 Now, how the hell does some one attack me over 2 million times in one month. InB4Trolls, I don't look at p0rn. You all think im lieing ;_; So do you think my anti virus is screwing me just to try and make me buy the full version? RE: Is my anti virus lieing? - Faustie - 01-05-2012 If it's DDoS, antivirus doesn't protect against DDoS.. Also one antivirus does not protect against all, that's a stupid thought.. Use at least two for full protection, my fav is antimalwarebyteswhatever. Funny thing is it has never ever let me down.. Ever. RE: Is my anti virus lieing? - Killjoy - 01-05-2012 No, never use two antiviruses together. It's best to use multiple layers of protection, one application per layer, so: 1) firewall 2) antivirus 3) anti-malware 4) registry and rootkit protection RE: Is my anti virus lieing? - The Crack Fox - 01-06-2012 Dont forget Anti-Spyware. |
