A very basic, simple solution would be to not open the F1 Menu.

Thats a very hard thing to not do. I mean I dont wanna go around playing as citizen all the time.

Try set a different bind for it.
To do so, open your console and type bind <key> gm_showhelp

It appears my PC only freezes for about 1-2 minutes, I believe I have to wait that time then.
