When I first joined the community, I had Shadow, Scene, Wood and some others help me get into role-play

Hmmm I believe the people who helped me the most were:
Obay got me into FL in the first place
Beflok got us into rping properly not just contra farming
Fultz helped me mature as a player, answered a lot of my questions about the rules etc even took time to demonstrate situations to me <3
Decay/Discord and Pinky helped me when when I came back, kept me out of bother for the most part.
And finally Shadow and Burnett who pretty much guided me on the right path when I came back and helped me become who I am today.
