I Got the same problem as you nubo,
I Got a new mic some weeks ago, worked fine,Used it at skype and all, The only problem is that it makes my sound like a 10-year old.
I dunno what caused , its just, i dont wanna get called "helium" and that stuff ,Or anything like that. It annoys me like hell, becuase its a lot easier than typing.

If your mic makes you sound like a 10 year old. Then that's probably because you do.
You don't go from deep to high because of your mic. If you haven't changed any settings on it.
