RE: Trojan horses(HELP!) - SoulRipper - 05-22-2011 This method will guarantee a virus-free computer: Install Avast from http://avast.com, get the free version. Install Malwarebytes from http://www.malwarebytes.org/ Do a full scan with Malwarebytes and update Avast. Your pc is clean, guaranteed. Virus aint gone, well now im gonna do some other shit... uhmm. god.... RE: Trojan horses(HELP!) - Lani - 05-27-2011 If you have a serious virus that you can't rid off, you could just reboot your reformat your computer from zero. Best antivirus: Brain + Microsoft Security Essentials. If some person REALLY wants to hack you, no antivirus will protect you. RE: Trojan horses(HELP!) - The Killer Lemon - 05-27-2011 I had my laptop for 2 years and I had a worsere problem than you When I had it (25/12/09) within 3 months I had a virus and I thought my macafe will sort it out, But some how the virus deleted my macafe software and It went from 1 virus to 1000+, so I had my laptop wiped clean. Then 1 year later (then I and the same macafe software) it happen again, but this time macafe didn't warn me that it had expired, it went from 1 to 10 (in 1 hour) to 25 and a trojan horse trying to get my bank details, then I had to wipe the laptop again. And now I got Talk Talk anti-virus software (after we changed from Aol to Talk Talk) and its better.
