Part 2:

So I have it now.

KHAJIIT I AM COMING!!!

(in 6 minutes and 476 seconds.)

Steamservers seem to be shit atm. I am downloading with 60kb instead of 600... Sometimes I download with 500, and now, nothing. And I just need another 10 MB...

Atleast you can play. Be grateful.
My skyrim is now only about 1 hour away from me now. Phew.

RE: SKYRIM! - CaveSquirrel - 11-11-2011

It is crashing when i press at New in the menu...

Anyways, reinstalling.

RE: SKYRIM! - The Crack Fox - 11-11-2011

Are you sure you can run it?

RE: SKYRIM! - CaveSquirrel - 11-11-2011

AMD Phenom™ II X4 920 Processor
ATI Radeon HD 4870
8GB DDR 2 RAM
Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit.

It should run, tested many things now.

Will just wait until it reinstalled now.. maybe there went something wrong.

E: ok, not working after reinstall.

RE: SKYRIM! - CaveSquirrel - 11-11-2011

It is running now, if for somebody else it is crashing too, look at this, that helped for me.

Quote:Hey guys, I was having this problem too and just stumbled on a solution that worked for me at least.

My sound device in windows was set to output at 192khz 24bit. When I set this back to 44.1khz 16bit it fixed the problem!

So to check, in win7 go to Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound

Pick your sound device that is set as default, click Properties.
Go to the Advanced tab and make sure the 'Default Format' it is set to 44.1khz 16bit.

I actually was able to set mine to 96khz 24bit and it works aswell, just doesn't seem to like 192khz.

Good luck!
