Vehicle trunks have actualy an use white this update you can now put weapons, drugs, food, fuel and other things in your vehicle trunk. The police can also search it white /search when the officer is standing behind the vehicle. You can also youse it to grind, its a nice space to put some melons in, white a limit of course  it woud look like this:

it woud also be a selling point more trunk space means more melons or what ever you wanna transport you coud also make truck trailers useful white this script, and you coud have guns white out the police knowing. The police also coud make trafick check points and control the trunk.

Why?
It coud add a lot of potential for rp like beter traffic stops or more work for the police it woud also be good for drug/weapon dealers or money farmer. The /resupply coud also be enhanced it woud be all around a good change.

This has been denied in the past and the reason is still the same:

If we ever rework inventory to support this, we'll add it vehicle trunks too as why not. This is pretty much impossible to do without said inventory rework anyway, I don't want to promise a rework as it's been a thing talked about for years so I'm not going to approve this as it's something that may never be done.

If we rework inventory sure, for now no.

Denied, as we can't commit to doing this right now. We understand that people would like items to have unique attributes, however, it is a massive project that we can't spare resources for right now. If we ever do end up doing it, then we will add vehicle storage.

EDIT: Just a quite note as people will likely ask, scripts available on sites like gmodstore are usually only made for DarkRP. Our gamemode isn't even close to DarkRP which means any scripts have to be adapted into the gamemode and depending on the script this can be a lot of work. We've bought gmodstore addons in the past just to never add them due to it being incompatible. There isn't any point in us spending money on a script like this just for it to require a lot more dev work, it's better for us to just do it ourselves as it can sometimes end up being less work than if we tried to adapt a gmodstore addon and the final result is better suited for FL.
