I like both really, I more just judge things on a song-to-song basis, don't really have a preferable genre. Michael Jackson, Bobby Brown, Donna Summer, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Dua Lipa, Rihanna, Sly & the Family Stone, Cole Porter, Dean Martin, Bruno Mars and the Bee Gees are all pretty great, just to name a few.
There was wank in the older decades and there is wank now. Only difference is now anyone in their bedroom with a computer can both create and access music now, so we're exposed to more shite than we ever used to be able to see.
