The Chinese Embassy

Earlier today, Self and I hosted a minievent that focused on the relations between the government of San Ranevo (United States) and the Chinese Embassy (China). While initially an attempt was made to thaw relations between the two nations after an incident where a Chinese national murdered 50 people in Washington D.C. in a China-backed terrorist attack, negotiations of China accepting responsibility and paying $400 million in damages to the US in return for an embargo lifting came to a sudden halt after the Vice President privately tried to ascertain further information on this incident in a way that threatened the relations thawing.

As a result, tensions began to rise again as the Ambassador and his diplomatic squad lost their immunity due to an investigation into the Vice President's conduct, ultimately resulting in his arrest and removal from office via impeachment. Both the FBI and the Secret Service arrived at the embassy during this period to acquire information about the Vice President's actions under threat of deportation.

As relations continued to sour on both sides and suspicious started to become pronounced, the government began a raid on the Embassy due to an increasing number of armed guards arriving at the embassy to protect it. This resulted in China declaring war on the United States, and vice versa. While the Chinese security forces were initially successful with significant pushback occurring, the armed forces of the United States was able to maintain their defence and ramp up their offence, with the Ambassador and a small crew surviving the raid.

Threats of nuclear weapons were tossed around until the United States proved victorious in ground warfare against China, with the Ambassador from China ashamedly arriving at the Nexus and offered the surrender of China to US forces, with the reveal of an underground base in the embassy that focused on military and scientific ways to defeat America, with all the information safely downloaded off of the computers, with cooperation from the defeated Chinese, under threat of execution. with the closure of the embassy and democratisation occurring in China. The Ambassador soon went off the radar.

A few weeks past when suddenly the former Ambassador and his crew returned to the forefront of international relations as they had acquired a nuclear missile and were threatening to launch it to win the greater fight against capitalism, upon a breakdown of further negotiations, the three scientists involved were killed before they could continue with their suicidal plan, and while the ex-Ambassador managed to activate the countdown sequence before being killed too, however the US forces were able to abandon the countdown and end the planned nuclear holocaust.

I would like to thank everybody who participated in this roleplay earlier today for the few hours that it occurred, and especially those who earned RPP with their exceptional roleplaying skills. Hopefully this is the first of many successful, in-depth, and fun (mini)events from myself and Self!
