Ricky's Car Dealership
.

Spoiler :

Recently in Northview Showroom, a new business at the location has opened its doors, and if you're interested in cars, then this is the place to go. Juan Galez is the owner of Ricky's Car Dealership, the newest car dealership in EvoCity and the first one to be open for a while now. Mr Galez decided to open up the business as it was a family inherited thing, with previous generations having done the same, however he has not inherited this from his family, but from the unrelated previous owners of the building.
.
It's a refurbished centre for Juan Galez, that first opened up business here last week. The business used to be based out in the countryside on the outskirts of EvoCity. Despite recent financial events with many world economies being plunged into recession, business has been "really good" at Ricky's, with the hint of a potential IPO coming up soon for the vehicle retailer. It will join a long queue of EvoCity based IPOs, a testament to the great business climate of EvoCity.

What are Galez's plans post-IPO? He plans for the company to be opened up to the public sector, with multiple investors to be involved to help grow and expand the company - nationwide. It would certainly be a difficult task, but if America has proven anything, it is that you can have small beginnings and end up with a massive empire. With financial reports for Q1 2020 looking strong, Mr Galez is feeling confident. Look out world, yet another PLC is coming from the back streets of EvoCity!
.
To get to this point, Galez has worked heavily within the world of advertising, using both AdSense and billboards to help promoted his business. With such an optimistic future ahead, this could very well be the next rising star in the city.

The Industrial Complex Siege
.

Spoiler :

In the early hours of 4 May 2020, a skirmish began between a member of the Hondai Gang and several members of the Watts Family. It began with the Hondai member seeing contraband visible through the windows of the fenced off Industrial Complex. This then led to the Hondai member firing at the Watts Family members, who returned the gunfire. This raged on for several hours into midday, with no clear victory on either side, other than a few destroyed pieces of contraband thanks to Hondai gunfire.
.
An EBC journalist was present and safe enough to be taking pictures of the event, however they managed to get shot, presumably by accident by a member of the Watts Family. In response, the leader has apologised for any harm towards journalists that occurred.

.
The EvoCity Police Department (ECPD) were not involved with this siege at the Industrial area of the V5P District. A generalised comment stating the lack of police officers and ongoing gang problems in other areas, notably the Villas, is the cause behind the lack of police involvement with the siege, however a spokesperson affirmed that the ECPD were dedicated to preventing all types of gang violence.

.
Traffic continued to flow through the area at a much lower level during the 24 hour event. It came to an end when the single Hondai member managed to enter the Industrial Complex facility on his own, and eliminate the 3 defenders of the base. In a shocking twist ending, it seems that the Hondai gang member was actually after their car, which had been impounded illegally within the compound.

Three men have been confirmed dead by the Coroner's Office due to gunfire.

Cars, Cash, & Coronavirus
.
With COVID-19 a major threat to public health in many countries, most people are travelling less and less for leisure, and now only for necessities. EvoCity is defying that norm however. This could be due to EvoCity's extremely isolated nature, as it's tucked away and surrounded by vast woodlands and lakes, or a more grim idea, is that it's yet to reach us yet.
.
But whatever way you look at it, there's no doubt that the lack of travelling in vehicles has led to a decline in oil prices, which has caused some residents to take advantage of the rock bottom gas prices to stock up for later use. Many citizens of EvoCity's countryside region gathered at the Sinclair Gas Station in the V5P District to do just that here.
.
The result was a little... crammed.
