It won't work for 90% of stuff on there, almost all of them are made for DarkRP or other gamemodes and will require heavy editing by us anyway. Due to them all being made by different people for different purposes the quality and style of them vary massively too. The only thing we're really getting out of these are models, as we'd likely have to do most if not all of the scripts behind such systems ourselves to make it fit in with the server and to make it compatible. Most scripts there aren't even optimised the best either and I don't want to be having to work with someone else's terrible code when I can just make it myself from scratch. All the actual decent things on there have DRM so we can't even edit them to make it compatible with the GM.

There are some scripts on there that we actually do need and are worth it, we can discuss this as the development team later if you want.

Some form of bank heist system (i'd say the first and third one etc).

Not like I already got something like this approved a year ago now...

I remember declining it, twice. After team discussion as well.

Having spoken to Devon a lot about gmod store, from what he tells me, there’s a rather high standard of code required, therefore I don’t think optimisation is needed, however, as Pollux has said, due to DRM overtaking, a lot stuff will be extremely hard to alter for us.

Each add on would need to be reviewed by the dev team, and undergo much testing on the gamemode, as our GM is as close as it gets to being custom really. These aren’t things that can be thrown in willy nilly, although some could definitely be worth considering.

Its often quicker to test and modify a bought addon than it is to code/model one from scratch. The tradeoff between full customisation and quick implementation is one that would vary from addon to addon.

Generally, as long as it isn't some bottom of the bargain bin addon thats getting put in, I wouldn't see any real problem
