Hello Jack,
After careful consideration of the case, I have decided to approve your UBLR. I do this on the grounds that you state you had been told of the President's whereabouts having returned to Nexus, thus giving you a valid reason to shoot upon the armed officers outside the front of Nexus. There is no evidence to suggest otherwise.
However, the means of which you were told this information is where you are in the wrong. You acted upon IC information that was given to you OOC in Discord (as you have fully admitted yourself). Regardless of the new rule's addition regarding being allowed to use FL Discord as a means of IC radio communication (along-side in-game transmission), the infraction still stands and thus you will be receiving a ban for metagaming - a punishment only because of your expected knowledge of this very basic rule. The user who gave you this information OOC is unknown so they will not receive any punishment (obviously).
