We’re a Gmod roleplay server, not your parents.
If your parents let you spend hundreds on virtual money then thats their bad parenting and a good life lesson.
And if its your money you’re spending then we’re not your financial advisors, your money isnt our business.

I have mixed opinions. If you want to gamble then you should be free to do so, however if you have a gambling addiction there is nothing in-game to physically stop you. Betting sites will ban you permanently upon request if you tell them you have a gambling addiction, what is on FL to try and stop you?

Casinos on FL, are a good form of roleplay and a good activity. They should most certainly stay, but i will admit one thing the people that leave over losing everything to a casino is pretty sad to see. With the state of the server, something needs to be put into place until thats resolved.

I tend to agree with your points here. It is sad to see players leave due to losing all their money, especially when the server is already dire. And I also agree that the Roleplay can be excellent in a casino when they are busy etc.

Every time I read something about casinos being whitelisted or banned I literally just think of everything else that happens on the server that us, the terrible staff team and community members let happen. People are roleplaying being shot and killed in the street. People are roleplaying sniffing lines of cocaine and popping pills in random houses, clubs and bars. People are roleplaying major drug deals. People are becoming dictators and literally banning people from entering a city and beheading them for jaywalking. People are roleplaying huge illegal ammunition and weapon deals. People are roleplaying raping a man or woman in Empire Hotel. All things, amongst betting in a casino, younger users experience and are exposed to playing FL.

People are fucking ROLEPLAYING. If a user wants to purchase money packs in-game with real money they have either earned or received permission to use, then it's their choice. If they're using real money they shouldn't have access to then that's out of our hands. In reality this is a virtual game and Forgee is right. We're not here to parent the younger users on the server, we're here to ensure that whenever users come to roleplay the experience is enjoyable, smooth and done properly in regards to our server rules.

Isn't this a roleplay server and does that not mean that players can be whoever they want to be on the server. So talking about the age factor is a bit dumb

But personally, I love the casinos in FL they bring everyone together and tbh its the only really passive rp that happens and FL is also not very popular (for now) and I believe taking casinos away will make it worse.

But what do I know I'm just a dumb 15-year-old ginger Scottish kid.
