[Solved] Wireless Connection
#1
How much latency will I get using a wireless connection. I'm currently using powerline adapters at the moment.

I have a good internet connection with 76 download speed and 20 upload speed.

no way for any of us to check
your best bet is to do a google speed test change it over to wireless then testing it again

There is no way for anyone else to determine your wireless speed as we are not connected to your router, only way is to check yourself like John said and compare with your power line speed.

Also wireless latency to servers all comes down to distance to your router/modem and interferences like telephones speakers etc. Fibre connections will differ with wireless and wired speeds also.

Power line is generally better than wifi but make sure the power line adapters are pluged in the wall directly not on one of these adapters that split into 4 or 5 plugs cuz these generally make the speed worst and may cancel the signal out as it guess that it is a short
Hope this helps Smile
