Why we should unban you: 

Okay so I had asked for the assistance of an admin after my friend had been RDM'd for no reason, the players had come up to the car and just shot him dead. As soon as this happened I got out of the car and the two men held a gun at me. Since this was already RDM I tried my chances at running, to which an instant ban for Fear RP was issued, after I had specifically requested the assistance of the admin. 

I know its only a 24 hour ban but I genuinely do not believe that I am at fault as again the people who are breaking multiple rules on the server (citizen RDM with machine guns).

I'd like to quickly draw your attention to the following rule:

"2.1c You cannot run away from someone when they have you at gunpoint."

You were in direct violation of rule 2.1c by running away from the muggers while they had you under gunpoint. Even if they did randomly kill your friend, that does not put you in a position to break the rules as well. What you should've done is comply with their demands.
