[Charity][Side-Group] E.C.H.O
#1
WIP

"To live homeless is not just to live in poverty and discomfort; it is to live divorced from society, separated from the most important thing in life: community."

(NB: E.C.H.O is a side-group. It will compliment your character's personality, as being apart of such an organisation integrates them into an active member of society. Like the character description defines your actions, being a volunteer at E.C.H.O defines how your character acts toward the homeless.)

This is the EvoCity Hobo Operation, better known as E.C.H.O.
We have no ranks; no system. Just the volunteers who strive to combat one of Evocity's largest issues: homelessness.

Our aim is simple. We believe that every man, woman and child of Evocity should be entitled to adequate shelter and access to food. Whether it's a lakeside villa or an apartment; no man, woman or child of Evocity should live on the streets.

Founded in 1984, E.C.H.O has always had one goal. That goal was to help the less fortunate and let every citizen live a warm and comfortable life.
Starting with just 3 members, E.C.H.O provided food and temporary shelter for the homeless. Later as it expanded, a weekly welfare advisor visited the homeless and helped them get back on their feet.
In the 29 years that E.C.H.O has been running, over 500 hobos have been relocated and been provided with a better life. According to a follow-up census of those we have helped, the occupations of the people is diverse, ranging from shop assistants to government officials.

E.C.H.O provides the necessities to the homeless division of Evocity. Such things include food, water, shelter, and education. Meetings are not regular, however The Director may sometimes coordinate a whole charity events and/or fundraisers.

With the aid of the government, E.C.H.O helps relocate hobos into council houses, helped paid for by the salary tax. Once they are off the street, our pastoral volunteers can routinely check up on them, help them find jobs and get their lives back on track.

You don't need to be with the group to do something!
See someone homeless? Give a donation, offer them somewhere to sleep.

We can't do it without the public's help, though!
Business Owners; Shop Merchants; Government Workers; help us in the fight to overcome homelessness in Evocity! If you can spare some change, or a loaf of bread, you're already improving someone's life significantly.

Fill out the form below and become an E.C.H.O volunteer now! It's simple, and will make all the difference.
