The Mr.E Enigma

Last week, the FBI put out a Burn Notice on a former criminal mole who goes by the name of ‘Mr.E’. 

He has reportedly been leaking information to the intelligence agencies for many years now. However, recently he has turned sour, and the information he has been leaking has been incorrect, and has led to the loss of many lives, and the sudden resurgence of crime in certain parts of the US.

The FBI believes that Mr.E is residing in Evocity, due to its isolation from mainland America. Security services believe he was spotted at J.F.K. airport a week ago, suggesting he is on the run.

The FBI has contacted me, and tasked Estleback with hunting this man down and capturing him, if he is indeed in Evocity.

The first port of call was to find any information regarding his whereabouts, so I reached out to a source of my own, and bought the information. As my contact would only agree to give it to me specifically, Estleback Operatives conducted a surveillance perimeter in plain clothes around the meeting area.

As Mr.E is such a closely guarded secret, I predicted that my contact is more involved than just being in the loop. Following him to the 'industrial complex', he handed the briefcase of money over to a mysterious figure. After my contact had driven off, we rushed into the complex to try and apprehend the figure, but he had vanished. Instead, we found a room which was guarded by a thick, metal door.

As the electrics were so old and had got damaged by a thunder storm the morning of the Operation, Estleback Operatives had to work together to get to the electrical control center at the top of the building. Fixing up the circuitry, the door opened to reveal a living quarters.

A one way plane ticket was sighted as having fallen out of the occupant's briefcase. It was from J.F.K airport to Evocity. Looking on the laptop located in the room, it was found that the occupant, now inferred to be Mr.E, had been looking up location information on Google Maps for 'Estleback Corporaiton HQ'. As our current place of residence in EvoCity is our Battleship while our City HQ is being constructed, we found Google Maps directions to the 'EvoCity lake'.

Rushing to the lake, we found a man that matched the description of Mr.E, 6"4 with brown hair. He was dehydrated and malnourished, and ran to us, asking us to take him to safety. Taking him to an old Estleback safe-house, he was nursed back to moderate health. The electricals then suffered a shock in the house, and the computer systems cut out.

An electrician was called to the house. However, as I walked into the computer room the 'electrician' was supposedly working in, she had a gun pulled on Mr.E. Upon seeing me, she took him into a human shield position, and asked for free passage. After a struggle, Mr.E was assassinated by the electrician.

Investigation is undergoing.
