Music - Modern or Old? - Toe Shmicki - 02-26-2021
Hey everyone!
Today is friday which in my eyes is very welcomed and hope all of you have a wonderful day, here in Sweden it's hella sunny which is quite nice! When I discuss music with people in real life they often perfer modern day music or older music from 60's, 70's and 80's, what music do you prefer? Personally I prefer older music but I can sometimes listen to modern music too but if I were to choose between one of them two it would be old music. The reason I like older music more is because I find a lot of modern music to sound the same while music older music has a more unique character to them. Why do you prefer the kind of music you do? What's your favorite genre? Mine is Rock & Country music.

I’m a fan of a fair few genres ranging from Trivium to Ariana Grandè with a sprinkling of J. Cole. But yeah, I mainly listen to modern music, I can’t remember the time I listened to anything older than like 2007

I love older music and modern music. However there is a lot of crap being produced today there are soon good artists and songs out there. I love any music from 1960-1990, especially the 60s and 80s. Love The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, Pink Floyd etc from the 60s.

I was raised on 1950-90s rock/metal. I expanded into the blues category myself and currently John Mayer is my favorite since he is a huge guitar inspiration to myself. Pink Floyd will always be my all time favorite (I have a tattoo even)

80's music is by far my favorite. Especially artists like Tears for Fears, Journey, Hall & Oates, The Doobie Brothers, U2, Loverboy and more

I love old and new music but my favourite genre is RnB or Reggae.
Grew up on both those genres but listened to some 60s onwards songs myself which I enjoy here and now.
