Sensors and Casino Chips - Pollux - 09-07-2019 ![]() ____________________________________________________________________________ Hey everyone, It's been a while but i'm releasing a few new and old projects which i've been working on since my return, today it's going to be Casino Chips and a Sensor Tool. Casino Chips Spoiler: Picture of various chips
Casino chips work much like money with a few added features. They dynamically change in colour and shape depending on the amount dropped by a player. It also is locked between the person who dropped it and the dealer meaning no one but those two people can pick the chips up. It also takes up much less space on a table, which can be an issue with many players. To use these, just use this command: /dropchips <amount> <dealer's name> It's easy to identify who owns the chips and who the dealer is by hovering over it: Spoiler: Chips displaying owner and dealer
Casino chips will spawn in frozen to prevent them from falling over or being flung around. You can easily unfreeze them by simply grabbing them with your hands. Sensors I've added a sensor tool made by myself. It is essentially an automated keypad, with a ton more options to customise it however you like. The tool can be found under "Construction" and is called "Sensor". Spoiler: Menu when opened
The tool automatically triggers a key when a player which meets the criteria you set is detected. The sensor itself can also be disabled with another key. Clicking on the buttons reveals more options you can set. customise it however you like. The tool can be found under "Construction" and is called "Sensor". The sensor has a visible preview circle and sphere. Spoiler: Visible circle and sphere
It will change state depending on if it is enabled or disabled. Spoiler: Enabled sensor
Spoiler: Disabled sensor
By default, the sensor will trigger on any player within range. Selecting any of the options or adding anyone to the bypass will disable this. A brief explanation of all the options: Repeat Keypress - Presses the button again after the timer runs out, useful for hydraulic doors. Team Bypass - People on the same team as you trigger the sensor (includes associates and gov workers). Self Bypass - Triggers the sensor when you are within range. Clan Bypass - People on the same clan as you trigger the sensor. Manual Player Bypass - People on the whitelist trigger the sensor. You can select multiple options at once if you wish (eg. can have team bypass alongside self bypass and a custom whitelist). The sensor tool fully supports the advanced duplicator, all settings will save in dupes. There is a maximum of two sensors per person. Sensors are not a replacement for keypads, as per rule 5.8 and 5.9 you must still use a keypad and/or button alongside the sensor.
