Real life cards should be allowed as long as all sessions are recorded with proof just incase anyone has a problem with "rigging".
However, in my opinion gambling does not enhance roleplay well and is one of the greatest way to siphon large amounts of cash to a few people.

I agree with the first statement there.
The second thing, well, they do get lots of people together and create a fun entertaining atmosphere which is always great. But there is no doubt about it that they filter in-game cash into one direction (ultimately).

The atmosphere it fun and bubbly, all cracks and jokes around the table, coming from me who has lost 20 million to noidz now, i would still go back if i had the money, noidz just is very lucky, plus players play in large bulks as hes popular and it just gives him more chance of beating you where as if you was to play on your own. THis is due to people taking your cards, and taking low card from him.
There is many factors which goes into it.
