Lockpicks and Crowbars - 2Deep - 10-14-2010
Hi.
I was wondering a day that the crowbars and lockpicks look exactly like each other and i have seen many times that people gets killed because of they thought the lockpick was a crowbar.. and to stop that, we maybe should change the skin or color of it. And it would be nice with some changing, dont know if its possible with the lua thing so, i dont know
ps. just an suggestion.

How about no model? In the way handcuffs are etc. Seen as IRL lockpicks are tiny?It'd be easy for you to make then
And it'd make lockpicking more stealthy like it is in real life

I dont really know that much models but, maybe a color change, like black crowbar that would be cool i think xD
ps. i just got RDMed by ankrab today because he thought i was holding a crowbar, but then again it was a lockpick

You could try using the Propeller Trap lever model.
The levers which start up the spinning blade traps in the Ravenholm chapter in Half-Life 2.
