Continuation from this thread since discussion is shut down because *someone* cant take criticism.
I personally think because there is no set rule for staff using "beta" vehicles shouldnt be allowed on the main server. They are somehow unstable and can be very unbalanced. Its not hard to implement a ripped off vehicle from TDM so i don't see why they need to be tested on the main server tbh. Just seems like its an excuse for staff to run round in cars no-one else can use - which is fine if its actually said thats what they are for rather than hiding it.
Opinions?

They serve their intended purpose perfectly, they've just been going on for too long.

Yes they should be used on main server for both passive RP and "testing"

I've heard they get used quite often for RP, which probably shouldn't be its purpose.
Then again Staff have been allowed to create custom vehicles ever since I've been here, and this doesn't fall far behind this, so I'd allow it really.
Just one of the perks, I suppose.
