We in Europe pay in Euros, not dollars. I found out that 10 dollars are 7,89€. Should I donate those now?

Us Brits pay in Pounds.
I think any currency works as long as it's on a credit card or similar.

If you Paypal use it will automatically debit the current exchange rate of € into $ from your account.
