What I need from you:
I'm curious what your estimated FPS is when the server is busy. Please use the poll and give an honest answer. It's not your PC to blame but the gamemode.

Please reply if you know things that will cause your FPS to drop. Except big dupes, that is unfixable anyway.

Project FPS madness

The coming weeks I will analyze the issues that are causing the FPS problems and fix them myself or with the development team.

My goal is to increase the average FPS with 10 FPS more (considering you have a PC that runs Gmod in singleplayer fine).

Glad to see something getting done about this, if there is a lot of people on the server (normally on weekends) I get below 20 FPS and is pretty unplayable. Most of my FPS drops come in because of a lot of vehicles spawned in on the city.

If you get lower than 5 fps, I think it's time to get a new PC.

Average FPS is about 25.

Definitely recommend testing this with a full server, it drops quite dramatically when it goes over 50.

Average FPS: 40 Low to Mid Players - 30 with Full Server

My Laptop is terrible and my average is 10-15 FPS. I'll drop the specs in later.

V5P Single Player
Outside nexus (near fountain) 70-100FPS

V5P Multi Player (zero players)
Outside nexus (near fountain) 50-70FPS

V5P Multi Player (40+ players)
Outside nexus (near fountain) 15-20FPS (mainly sits at 17FPS)

If there's alot of props/dupes in the city, then the FPS will drop under 10

ive got my fps locked to 75 but here you go;

v5p single player 75 fps

v5p multiplayer without anyone on 75 fps

v5p multiplayer full server i get 40-50 fps. sometimes dipping to 30-35 when looking at nexus and someone placed a dupe with lots of props
