Also you'll find doing cables is the most difficult part because the sockets refuse to go in without a bit of force. Just make sure you're not putting pressure on any delicate parts when you ram those cables in https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/ RE: New PC... Any Tips? - Marty - 01-30-2018 Get someone to do it for you...problem solved. As for the wiring.. In my experience the longer the better. Can always tie up the excess however trying to make a wire squeeze over the top of your CPU fan is not fun. RE: New PC... Any Tips? - Coffee - 01-31-2018 Don't touch the pins and the lid of the CPU RE: New PC... Any Tips? - Ratatoskrr - 02-02-2018 All went well, thank you everyone for the tips! HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE shoutout to MasterNoda for the help with the cabling! RE: New PC... Any Tips? - Knightley - 02-09-2018 Well to me your build looks amazing, and it will be able to run majority of games at 4K 60fps. When building, I would make sure you have an anti static rust strap on to ground yourself as this reduces the chances of damaging any of your components. Also do a test run on your PC before you put it in your case, that's means assembling the PC outside the case first, and then booting it to make sure it posts, as finding a problem with your PC when it's already in the case can be really annoying. When it's all working, dissemble t, and assemble the PC again in the case |
