[Solved] Suscribed to addons but still missing textures! - Pootis Bird - 08-09-2017
Not so long ago I have uninstalled and reinstalled Garry's Mod and got rid of my files aswell as uninstall all my addons, I have went back to the fearless website and suscribed to all addons listed in Downloads and I am seeing some errors/missing textures for some items/playermodels in-game. I have asked a teacher on the server to see if they know the problem but they did not, which has led me to posting here!
Im going to list what I am missing below and put in a couple of screenshots to show what I am missing, If anyone can help that would be very much appreciated.
Playermodels
- President Playermodel
- Chef Playermodel
- Don Corleone and Corleone Member Playermodels
- All Suits and Dresses Playermodels
- Murchielago
- Mercedes-Benz G65
- Trabant
- Bus
- Tides Truck
- Toolbox
- Fishing Rod
- Money Printer
- Tommy Gun
- Blindfold
- Hostage Rope
- Pots
- All drugs (Cocaine, Heroine etc.)
- Errors show up above head when equipping hands/keys (fists) and Move Bodies.

Side Note
- I have installed all addons listed on this website.
- I have verified my Garry's Mod Files.
- I have installed CS:S, Half Life 2, Half Life 2: Episode 1 & 2 and mounted it onto Garry's Mod.
- If I am missing any addons that was not listed on the website please let me know.

That's an issue with Garry's Mod addons dont work when you reinstalled Garry's Mod. Try going to Features-Local Files and click 'Verify integrity of game files'

I was told to do this by one of the Teachers, Verify Files, Download addons, check if CS:S, HL2 EP 1 & 2 is downloaded. None has worked.

Have you downloaded and installed the content from half life and css from the forums? And if you have half life and css make sure you have them ticked on when you go to the bottom right of your main menu and click on the little controller there.

Btw I noted on what I have already done on the bottom of the post that didn't work.

This seems to be a problem with other users too. If you could, can you delete the following directories from your
garrysmod/ folder:
- addons
- download
- downloads
I have been testing with the content recently, and it seems the only thing not automatically downloaded upon joining the server is HL2 textures (which you say you have from the downloads section). Therefore, if you could also pick up the HL2 pack (click here) and place it inside garrysmod/addons (recreate the folder if needed).
Therefore, before you open your game, you shouldn't have anything in addons/ except the HL2 pack, you should have CSS installed (or the subsequent content pack if needed), and you shouldn't have the download & downloads folders.
Then, start up your game and make sure you have cl_downloadfilter set to all and cl_allowdownload set to 1.
After you have checked those convars, connect to the server.
Please notify of any other errors.

Has this issue been solved? If we get no reply within 48 hours either me or another teacher will close it.
