I've had this problem for days now, when I connect to the server it is noticeably slower in loading and I lose connection after I join the server, it is only fixed after lots of retries. Does anyone know the reason and/or solution for this?

Try entering your routers admin page, most router companies display connection problems there.

Could you give us some speed test results, also have you downloaded any add-ons recently?

These are 'raw' results,without any other programs open than Google Chrome
Download:14.59 Mbps
Upload:0.86 Mbps
Ping:31 ms
Checking with Steam open now

Have you tried reinstalling Garry's Mod? If not, try that.

Try restarting your router and closing any applications that may be using a lot of internet.
