I played on Nostalrius a bit. Since I started playing back in Vanilla launch, it sure hits my sweet 9 y/o heart in the feels.
However, I would not want to replace my time spent on Legion with Vanilla. Legion is actually pretty damn nice.

Can't believe I was also 9 y/o when I began playing WoW. Sadly I did not have the same nostalgia as you did, I had the Burning Crusade sort of nostalgia
I think WoW was at it's prime when BC was out.
